(90Km.):- on the hill to the south of
the Jahazpur town stands a large and strong fort consisting of Two
ramparts, One within the other, each having a deep ditch and numerous
bastions. The village has a group of temples dedicated to Shiva and called
the Barah Deora. The fort also houses a few tamples among which the one
dedicated to Sarweshwarnathji is said to be quit old. There is also a
mosque , Situated between the village and the fort, known as the Gaibi Pir,
named after a muhammadan Saint gaibi who is said to have resided here in
Akbar's time among the inhabitants of the place.
